Hilde Fredriksen is a PhD candidate at the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center and is now working on a project aiming to develop exercise programs targeting key risk factors for shoulder injuries among handball players

Hilde is a physical therapist, authorized as Specialist in Sports Physiotherapy and Specialist in Manual Therapy. She has worked at the Norwegian Olympic Training Center (Olympiatoppen) for more than twenty years, has worked as PT for the Norwegian Olympic Team six times and was head PT at the Olympic Games in London 2012 and Rio 2016. She has also a background as a hurdler at international level.

She is the past vice president of the Norwegian Society of Sports Physiotherapy, and is the Norwegian delegate of the European Society for Shoulder and Elbow Rehabilitation.
