    June 14, orthopaedic surgeon Svend Ulstein will defend his PhD-thesis on "Prognosis and treatment of focal cartilage lesions of the knee joint - medium to long-term results" at the Akershus University Hospital for the degree of PhD (Philosophiae Doctor).

  • OSTRC trains Olympic sports medicine doctors

    21 physicians from all over the world traveled to Oslo to officially finish their 2-year distance-learning program in sports medicine. This was the fifth group of a total of 60 doctors to complete the Sports Medicine Diploma offered by the IOC.

  • AOSSM 2018 Cabaud award to Gilbert Moatshe

    Gilbert Moatshe MD PhD from the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center and the Steadman Philippon Research Institute and Clinic in Colorado was recently awarded for being the first to identify an optimal graft tensioning sequence to preserve knee function during multiligament reconstruction.
