Anders Hauge Engebretsen has completed the Medical Research Curriculum at the University of Oslo (UiO).

Anders defended his PhD thesis on the topic of "Football and injuries - Screening, risk factors and prevention" in 2011.

He is currently working at Oslo University Hospital at the Department of Pediatric surgery.
