Sara Dahlén is a Swedish physician who is a specialist in both Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine. She has been involved in sports medicine since 2012. Between 2018 and 2021 she was employed by the Swedish Paralympic Committee and was the physician responsible for the Swedish delegation at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. Since 2020 she has been the team physician for the women’s football team Hammarby, competing in Sweden’s first tier, Damallsvenskan.
As of October 2022, Sara Dahlén is a full time PhD candidate at Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center, Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. Her main research focus is on football and potential negative effects on the nervous system.
