Raju holds a PhD in Applied Statistics from NMBU, where he focused on multivariate simulation and method comparison. His thesis, Exploration of multi-response multivariate methods, laid the foundation for his expertise in advanced statistical methods.
During his PhD studies, he worked as a teaching assistant and course coordinator for Theoretical Statistics, where he supervised students and administered course material. In addition, he also provided statistical advice in experiment design, data visualization and data management to master and doctoral students. As a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Oslo, he analyzed melanoma registry data to reveal trends in tumor thickness and survival, while continuing to provide statistical advice for interdisciplinary research projects.
