FIVB Volleyball Medical Congress 2011
Intoduction
This landmark congress will focus primarily on how to avoid and deal with common injuries suffered in volleyball as well as the ongoing issues with doping in world sport, specifically the FIVB's "We Play it Clean!" Anti-Doping program.
The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) is extremely proud to announce the launch of the inaugural FIVB Volleyball Medical Congress 2011.
The congress will be held from January 13-15 in Bled, in the beautiful Slovenia.

- The Chairman of the FIVB Medical Commission, professor Roald Bahr from the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center, Norway
- Professor Elizabeth Arendt from the University of Minnesota, USA
- Professor Lars Engebretsen from the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center, Norway
- Dr. Pavels Mustafins from Riga Stradins University and the Latvian Academy of Sports Pedagogy, Latvia
